2016 was quite the year on many fronts and the next will inevitably be a period of significant and transformative change. As our Minister has recently stated in the Legislature, “child welfare is in for drastic changes, buckle up.”, and I believe that is true not only for child welfare, as we are experiencing major changes in developmental services, early years and supervised access.
I remain confident that by continuing to work together, we will position our organization well for the challenges and opportunities that loom on the horizon. Every great dream begins with a dreamer. You have within you the strength, the patience, and the passion to make a difference and jointly we will continue to ensure the best for the children, youth, adults and families in the County.
