Input Requested: Child Welfare Engagement Process

September 11, 2019

Change and continuous improvement is not new to the child welfare sector. Children’s Aid Societies have responded and transformed through the legislative changes of the late 1990s, the Transformation Agenda in 2006, the Commission to Promote Sustainable Child Welfare in 2012, and the implementation of the new Child, Youth and Family Services Act in 2018.

Are you a youth currently receiving services from a Children’s Aid Society or received services in the past? Have you received residential care? Are you a parent, family member or caregiver / foster parent who is involved or was involved with a Children’s Aid Society or with licensed child and youth residential services? If so, the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services hopes you can take some time to provide your input on this survey here: Aussi disponible en français:

Thank you for your input as we continue to enhance services for children and families.
